Welcome to my academic website. My research explores how applied mathematics, statistics, and data science can address practical challenges in public health, education, and community development.
I am particularly interested in mathematical modelling, biostatistics, epidemiology, and evidence-based decision-making that supports sustainable development across Tanzania and beyond.
Research Interests
Epidemiological Modelling
Developing mathematical models to understand infectious disease dynamics and evaluate intervention strategies.Education Analytics
Using quantitative methods to improve student learning and educational outcomes.Data Science
Statistical modelling and data-driven approaches for evidence-based policy and decision-making.Teaching & Mentorship
I teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in applied mathematics, statistics, research methods and data analysis. I also supervise student research projects and mentor young researchers interested in quantitative methods and interdisciplinary research.
Current Focus
My current work seeks to strengthen the use of mathematical and statistical methods in solving real-world challenges in health, education and social development through interdisciplinary research and collaborative partnerships.
