JUCo DSRG is a new, formally established research initiative at Jordan University College. We are looking for motivated early-career researchers — undergraduate students and postgraduate researchers — to join our first cohort and help us build something genuinely new at JUCo: a research environment where data analysis, mathematical modelling, and real-world problem-solving come together.
Programme Overview
The JUCo DSG is a supportive, 12-month pilot research community designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical, real-world skills. Working together in small, collaborative teams, participants will receive dedicated mentorship to analyze data, build models, and develop impactful research projects that address critical health, education, and development challenges in our community.

- Open to Mathematics or Computer Science undergraduates.
- Open to Postgraduate Research Scientists.
- Must have at least 2 academic years remaining (for undergraduates).
Selection Criteria
- Strong motivation for research and learning.
- Commitment to engaging in weekly sessions.
- An interest in quantitative methods.
- No prior coding experience required — we teach you from scratch!
